Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The EAP is available to assist you with a variety of issues you face everyday in your position. They can work with you to explore solutions and develop a viable plan by providing a fresh perspective. Contacting the EAP is a good first step in supporting you and your staff. 

EAP Consultation Services for Managers and Union Partners

Consultation
EAP can support you in dealing with an employee or workgroup situation, including:

  • communication problems, conflict, or morale
  • issues affecting performance
  • troubled or impaired employees

They can assess and develop a tailored strategy plan. EAP can provide support with the personal impact this may be having on you.

Organizational Assistance
EAP provides tailored support to teams or departments needing assistance in:

  • communication skills
  • conflict resolution
  • stress and coping
  • change management.

 

Resource Referral
Kaiser Permanente has a wealth of options to help you and your department find the support you need. EAP specializes in identifying valuable resources such as:

  • Human Resources
  • Learning & Development
  • Healthy Workforce
  • Employee Wellness
  • Outside community resources.

 

Crisis Response
EAP responds to traumatic events and provides debriefing services. Contact the EAP for incidents such as:

  • Threats or violence
  • Serious illness or death of an employee
  • Adverse clinical outcomes
  • Local disasters.
